Professional Experience / Experiencia Profesional Christie brings to the table years of experience in Real Estate and Business. Having grown up around real estate development and continuing on with it in her own life, Christie's “bag of tools” has grown to be quite large. Christie worked as an environmental planner in the Lake Tahoe basin for many years prior to becoming a real estate developer and agent. In 2004 she changed career paths and worked on the development of Donner Crest an 82 lot custom home subdivision. Christie is the project manager and also serves on the Donner Crest Owners Association, the Board of Directors of Donner Crest LLC, and the Donner Crest Design Review Committee.  In addition to these positions Christie is also a full service realtor specializing in the Truckee market. Christie keeps track of the market very closely and has experience in short sales and foreclosures. Christie also like to work with Spanish speakers and international buyers and sellers.

Background Information / Antecedentes Christie has been a full time resident of Truckee since 2001. She grew up in the Sacramento Valley and has been spending her vacation time in Tahoe her whole life. Christie attended the University of Oregon and The University of Colorado and obtained a degree in Geography and a Certificate of Applied Business. Christie loves travel and has visited nearly 24 countries to date. If you don’t catch her skiing, mountain biking, or playing tennis then you might find her via email or Google talk in some remote corner of the world. Christie is a strong believer of the power of technology. She utilizes many of its capabilities in her own life and will put it to work for you too.  She knows that it’s easy to be successful if you have the right tools!
